HyperOS 3: Updates Released! See What’s Coming to Redmi and POCO Now

HyperOS 3 is rolling out — and many Redmi and POCO phones are on the list. I’m Valberthvas, and in this article I keep exactly to the information I shared in my video. I explain which devices already have builds ready, the schedule we observed, and how the rollout will happen. I write plainly so everyone can follow, even if this is your first time hearing about HyperOS.

At the start of this second paragraph: HyperOS 2.2, OTA updates, Global Beta — these are the related keywords to look for when checking your phone. The company released stable October builds that include both HyperOS 2.2 and the new HyperOS 3. These packages are being pushed out by region and model. Some devices already have final builds ready internally; others will receive updates in phases over the coming months.

What HyperOS 3 brings and the release window

HyperOS 3 focuses on better speed, smoother visuals, and smarter power use. The interface looks cleaner, icons and animations are refined, and AI features for camera and battery management are improved. These updates aim to make phones feel faster and last longer on a charge.

According to the information I gathered and shared in the video, Xiaomi started releasing stable October builds that include HyperOS 2.2 and HyperOS 3. The rollout follows a soft-launch method — updates go out in batches by region. Based on our sources, the main release window begins in October and continues into November 2025, with later phases running through early 2026. The timeline I presented in the video reflects builds already prepared and the planned phases for POCO and Redmi lines.

Builds already ready and regions with early releases

Some high-end Xiaomi devices already have final or near-final builds prepared in specific regions. These devices are part of the first wave or have Global Beta builds ready:

  • Xiaomi 14 Ultra — CN (China) builds prepared.
  • Xiaomi 14T & 14T Pro — builds prepared for Europe, Turkey, Russia.
  • Xiaomi 14 series — Global Beta builds ready in Europe, India, Turkey, Taiwan, Russia.
  • Several Xiaomi 17 / 17 Pro builds and Xiaomi Pad 8 / Pad 8 Pro builds were noted among the compiled lists.

These devices show that HyperOS 3 is close to a global rollout, since internal builds are finalized and regional packaging is complete.

Redmi and POCO: the planned waves

The POCO line appears early in the rollout, and many POCO models already have final builds ready. From my video transcript and the data I shared:

First wave (builds ready)

  • POCO F7 Ultra — build ready.
  • POCO F7 Pro — build ready.
  • POCO X7 Pro — build ready.
  • POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition — build ready.
  • POCO X7 — build ready.

These POCO models show builds prepared for Global (MI), Russia (RU), and Indonesia (ID) regions. That means OTA release is mostly a matter of staging and regional rollout.

Relationship between POCO and Redmi

Many POCO models share hardware with Redmi models. For example:

  • POCO C75 = Redmi 14C (same device under another name).
  • POCO X7 Pro shares hardware with Redmi Note 14 Pro+ variants.

When POCO devices in a family receive HyperOS 3, equivalent Redmi models typically follow with the same update.

Second and third phases (schedule)

  • Second phase (Nov–Dec 2025): POCO F6 Pro, POCO X6 Pro (build ready), POCO M6 Pro, POCO M6, POCO C75 / Redmi 14C.
  • Third phase (Dec 2025 – Mar 2026): POCO F5 Pro, POCO F5, POCO X6 5G, POCO M7 Pro 5G, POCO C85.

Beta releases may appear before a full stable rollout. If you see a Beta label, that usually means the update is in late testing.

Sample devices and example builds

Brand / ModelExample build(s) or note
Xiaomi 17 / 17 Pro / 17 Pro MaxOS3.0.17.0 / OS3.0.20.0 (region builds cited)
Xiaomi 14 ProOS2.0.222.0 (example build)
Xiaomi Pad 8 / Pad 8 ProOS3.0.6.0 / OS3.0.5.0
Redmi Note 13 Pro 5GOS2.0.203.0 (example)
Redmi Note 12OS2.0.202.0
Redmi Turbo 3OS2.0.206.0
POCO X6 / X7 ProOS2.0.203.0 / OS2.0.205.0

This table reflects the builds and mappings I listed in the video. Use it as a quick reference when checking forums or official trackers.

How the rollout works (simple steps)

  1. Xiaomi prepares builds for regions (CN, EU, RU, MI, ID, etc.).
  2. Builds are staged as Global Beta or stable.
  3. Soft rollout (OTA) starts in batches — not everyone gets the update at once.
  4. Beta may appear first; stable follows after testing.

If your phone doesn’t show an update immediately, wait for your region’s batch. Check the system update screen under Settings → About phone → System update.

My note as the creator (Valberthvas)

All information I present here comes from the communities and from internal sources I follow. I share these notes because I want you to be informed ahead of official press releases. In the video I explained that builds often appear in beta or internal channels before an official announcement. If the updates start showing on October 20, that will mean the first batch of HyperOS 3 builds was released prior to the stable public announcement — and that’s consistent with what I reported.
